crosshairsIntroduction To Aim Devices

In this guide, we will explore the role of Aim Devices in DMA (Direct Memory Access) cheating setups.

What Are Dim Devices?

An Aim Device is a hardware component used in DMA (Direct Memory Access) setups that performs automated aiming and shooting assistance for the Gaming PC. Instead of running software inside the game, the device receives positional/ESP data from a separate “Radar PC” (which reads game memory) and converts that data into precise, human-like input on the Gaming PC. Producing classic aimbot and triggerbot behaviours without in-game injection. It does this by emulating or directly controlling your physical mouse (sending micro-movements and clicks at the HID level), so the Gaming PC only ever sees normal mouse input.

Types of Aim Devices

MAKCU — Supports full pass-through at 1 kHz polling, utilizing the NET API for high-speed, low-latency input. It’s one of the most affordable and reliable options for DMA setups.

FERRUM— A next-generation aim controller supporting full pass-through up to 8 kHz polling with Net / B+ API compatibility. Designed to be the kill all device, ideal for competitive users.

XEN MOUSE — Built on a Arduino Leonardo, available in two license tiers:

  • T1 – Standard version with no pass-through

  • T2 – Enhanced version with full pass-through capability for more natural, direct mouse behavior.

KMBox (Net / B+) — Older generation hardware that’s now largely outdated. Limited API support and slower polling make it less suitable for modern DMA configurations.

Neoware — Legacy hardware that’s no longer actively supported.

What is Mouse Pass-Through?

Mouse pass-through lets the aim device control your mouse while keeping it fully functional. It effectively spoofs your mouse 1:1, so software like Razer Synapse, Logitech G Hub, or FinalMouse still detects it as the original device. You can adjust DPI, Macros and profiles as normal, while the aim device adds micro-movements or trigger actions through the cheats that running on your 2nd pc.
